Pull out the crockpot and make this flavor-packed burrito bowl for an easy meal prep! This skirt steak recipe is full of protein, loaded with fiber and nutrients, and easily customizable!

Ingredients

2 lb Skirt Steak

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp black pepper

2 cups red chili sauce

5 cloves, whole

4 allspice, whole
-
5 garlic cloves
-
2 bay leaves
-
1 white onion, cut in half

2 cups rice
-
1 cup pinto beans
-
1 cup corn
-
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Coat the 2lb of Skirt Steak in the seasoning blend on all sides. Pour the red chili sauce over all of the meat.

Add cloves, bay leaves, garlic, allspice, and onions, and cover. Refrigerate and allow meat to marinate for 30 minutes (Full day at most).

Transfer marinated meat into the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours.

While the meat is cooking, boil the rice. Drain the pinto beans and set aside.

When the meat is tender and fully cooked, remove it from the crockpot. Remove the bay leaves, allspice, and cloves, and discard.

Plate the skirt steak with the cooked rice, pinto beans, corn, and cheese. Enjoy!
